A Fun Trip

Yesterday’s paddle went exceptionally well except for a little confusion in finding the exit at Lake Marquette. Jenna wrote about it here. For the record I did not want to throw her camera into the lake and found the whole day to be enjoyable.

Jenna suggested we call our expedition the Tequila Sunrise as we had one orange and one red kayak. I found that to be quite funny and revealed to her later that I actually had a Nalgene full of that same beverage that I was drinking from the entire way and finished off at Plantagenet.

The Schoolcraft river is a beautiful paddle and worked out well for a day trip. The few pictures below are courtesy of Jenna.
