Red Wing

Going rock climbing in Red Wing at Barn Bluff this weekend. It’s mostly 5.10-5.12 sport, so it’ll be in a pretty challenging range of climbs for me. There are some 5.7s and 5.8s there as well. At least I won’t need much more than harness, rope, shoes, and draws.
Another bonus is that I’ll be driving past REI on the way there so I can exchange my Arc’Teryx R320 for a medium size and also pick up some new shoes.
Details of the climbing and hopefully thoughts on new rope and shoes will follow. Also, you might get a few more thoughts on the R320.
